Three years after their last release, the electro industrial Roman band, born from an idea of the charismatic frontman Daniele Coccia as a dark and extreme alter ego of his project Il Muro del Canto, is finally ready to return.
After the well-received album “L’Altra Educazione” (2007Altipiani/Edel) and “Non Un Passo Indietro” (2009 Altipiani/Audioglobe), preceded by the two singles “Habitat” and “EnemyDomine”, RESET (2012 Altipiani/Audioglobe) is ready to explode in an astonishing mix which depicts Surgery at its best in 2012.
In this new chapter, the Roman band is moving dynamically between experimentation and its traditional sound, composed of distorted guitars, double voices (masculine/female), electronic rhythms elaborated by creativity and the experience of Matteo Dj Fre4k Castaldi. The lyrics alternate between English and Italian.
“Reset” is, therefore, a multi-faceted disc, with a sonority that finds its ideal dimension live, with a performance at the limits of the avant-garde theater, with masks drawn specially by the master of the special effect; Sergio Stivaletti, historical collaborator, among others, of Dario Argento, Lamberto Bava, and Michele Soavi.
